Dr. Trewet

Carrol C. Trewet, D.D.S.
Graduated from Drake University in 1959, and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1963. Dr. Trewet came to Atlantic in 1965, after serving 2 years in the Air Force and has been practicing dentistry here for the past 39 years. His wife, Betty, and he have raised 5 children and have 9 grandchildren. Besides them, He loves flying, and has several aviation ratings. He enjoys woodworking and refinishing antique furniture, and playing Bridge. Dr. Trewet has been privileged to serve dentistry as a member of the Board of Trustees and president of both the Iowa Dental Association and the Iowa Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Nelson

Kirk A. Nelson, D.D.S.
Graduated from Atlantic High School in 1975, attended Iowa State University from 1975-79, and graduated from The University of Iowa Dental School in 1983. He was a dentist in the US Air force in Washington D.C. from 1983-1986, and started at the Atlantic Dental Center in 1986. He has a wife, Sara and two children - Brian, Tom. When he's not following his boys activities, he loves playing golf. Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Dentists and Pierre-Fauchard honorary societies. Dr. Nelson is one of 100 dentists selected world wide to be a visiting facility member at the Pankey Institute for continuing education in Key Biscayne Florida. He is also on the Pankey Speakers Bureau and lectures on aesthetics and restorative dentistry.
